links not working

I think I’ve already posted another inquiry, but I’m not quite sure if it’s related or not. When I’m logged in to WordPress and use the search function, I can only view the first page of results. When I click on the next page, the link takes me back to the main search page (where it doesn’t show any search results) instead of going to the next page of results. I don’t know why the links are not working. If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated.
