Hello.
Thank you for using our plugin.
I have just checked and your link works correctly and goes to https://knitterain.com.
Could you, please, check one more time for today? Is problem still exists?
Regards
Here’s what I see in the address bar when I click on the knitterain.com link on multiple devices and browsers:

Sometimes it just repeats: https://domain.comhttps://domain.comhttps://domain.comhttps://domain.comhttps://domain.com etc.
I’ve changed the actual link to wordpress.org.
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://wordpress.org" target="_blank">knitterain.com</a></p>
I checked on demo version. Link works.
Please, try put according my template:
a href=”https://www.SITE ADDRESS/” target=”_blank”>NAME
Regards
Currently on your site link looks like
<a href=”\https://wordpress.org\
This seems really odd, perhaps an issue with cache on WordPress, my browsers, or Mac?
I tried adding the trailing slash as mentioned in your template, but that creates a double slash in the browser when rendered.

Hello.
The latest developers version is available on GitHub. Try to use it.
https://github.com/Fruitfulcode/Maintenance.
You should replace your data directory to data from the archive.
If you didn’t change anything in the source files then your configuration will be not lost.
If you still will have a problem, please, submit request to our Technical support:
http://support.fruitfulcode.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
We can’t reproduce your situation on our demo. Everything work correctly for us.
Regards
This fixed whatever the issue was and things are working perfectly.
I installed and removed a number of maintenance mode plugins, this may have had something to do with the issue. On the server side, in cpanel I disabled the default caching but didn’t help. I also cleared all browser data and cache from Chrome, Safari and Firefox but also didn’t help. I then installed a plugin to optimize the database, thinking it was an issue with previously installing / uninstalling other plugins, this didn’t help either.
Thank you for your diligence!
We have just solved the same problem with links and it was not in plugin.
It was still old source code in version of Maintenance. You can provide the FTP access and our developers will fix this problem for your project:

The Git version works good. Why are you not releasing it in this repo?
Thanks!
