Linking to non-wordpress database

    Hi,

    I am trying to figure out if there is anything that can help you link your wordpress site to an external enquiries database?

    For example, I currently have a well established members database and an inquiries database, and I would like to make it so that anytime a customer sends an inquiry about a product it goes straight into my existing (non wordpress) inquiries database.

    Is this possible? And if so, with what?
