Hi rhthompson. Normally you would use a menu. If you want to create buttons instead you could use one of these button generators:

If the generator provides the HTML, copy that to your page template and add the link to your page. Or create an HTML anchor tag with the link to your page and a class to match the CSS from the generator. Then copy the generator CSS to a child theme style.css file or a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-css/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-js/

Thank for your reply. I believe it tells me all I needed to know. Your patience with a newbie is also appreciated. I don’t find any “Unsubscribe” at the top of the link you gave me, but probably putting a checkmark on “Mark this topic as resolved” will stop any further emailing.
