    Hi Richie.
I am trying to get my banner to link to my main page, by using your advice from this
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/header-image-not-linking?replies=7#post-4822457

But I must be doing something wrong, or I am missing something.
I have tryed everything you said in that string, but I still cannot figure it out. I did get the banner to link, but then I got 2 banners, one under the coloure navbar, and one that did not link above the navbar. I managed to get rid of the one above the navbar, but then my banner was right above my posts, which seems a bit “silly”.
Do you have any advice about how to get it right?

    Best wishes
    Flemming

  • Hi Flemming,

You should replace #link by the link to your site. To help with further updates of your site and as a good practice, instead of hard coding your url, use site_url() in your header.php

Also, if you make changes to your theme, consider using Child Themes to prevent overwriting changes on theme updates.

Hi Timothe, I know that the #link needs to be filled in. But the thing is that the header gets below the coloure menu bar, and now above it…You can see it if you go on my webpage…
thanks for info/advice :-), but I it still does not work.

    Hi Femming,

sorry for misunderstanding about your issue. I went back to your site and all the banners disappeared. Can you let me know when they’re back so I can have another look.

Hi Timothe, thanks for all your input, I choose to change my themes as I found mesocolomn to have too many small flaws, that I am sure will be corrected by time.
    All the best

I wish you all the best and lot of fun with the new theme.
