Link to "Home" help!

Hello,

I posted this question earlier, but it went unanswered and now I’m starting to freak out because I can’t figure out what’s wrong. Here’s the gist: I created my own theme. On the left side of my main page (index.php) I have an unordered list of links. Each link is a separate php page stored in my content/themes folder. When I test the site on my local server, the main page looks fine and all the links work fine, except my “home” button when I click it from any of the other php pages I made. I get a fatal error message when I click my “home” link from any of those other pages. I’ve tried moving the index.php to several other parts of the directory, but nothing seems to work. What am I missing here?
