Hi @pluh,
Thanks for the message.
/recommends/ is the default link prefix, your settings should have been migrated across though.
Please try deactivate then reactivate the plugin.
If that doesn’t work, you can just change the link prefix setting under ThirstyAffiliates->Settings, Link Appearance tab.
Once that is done, they should go back how they were with the /go/ prefix.
Let me know how you go.

I did try deactivating and reactivating the plugin, but the issue still persists.
I also did change the slug in the settings (Link Appearance) tab, but after hitting “save changes” it goes back to /recommends/
Tried saving the permalinks, tried clearing cache etc.
I think it may be an issue with the new version of the plugin.
I’m using Nginx if that makes any difference.
I did “fix” the issue by adding a custom “go” prefix, but I’m open to suggestions if you have a better way of actually fixing this
Worth noting: I can change to whatever other prefix and it works fine, but when changing it to /go/ (the one I was always using) – it doesn’t work.

Hi @pluh,
That’s definitely weird!
Is it possible to regenerate your permalinks? Does that help?
If not, please write in to support and I’ll organise to get a login from you. I think I’m going to need to see this in action.
Just reference this forum thread in your support ticket and that you were talking to me and it will be forwarded to me.
Thanks,
Josh

Like I mentioned above, I already tried regenerating the permalinks.
Anyway, the problem is with my Redis cache. I disabled it and the settings work fine.
Ah my mistake, I missed your line “Tried saving the permalinks, tried clearing cache etc.” when I first read your reply!
Redis … my old nemesis. Yes, that definitely could have caused it.
Glad to hear you’re up and running!
Cheers,

Based on this
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-options-wont-save-2/
I can probably solve this issue.
What’s ThirstyAffiliate’s cache group?
Hi @pluh,
We’re not actually adding that setting to any particular cache group. Is there a general one that can be cleared?
It really would only need to be done once, unless you changed the Link Prefix setting again.
Hope this makes sense.

I used the ‘options’ cache group and seems to be working fine now. I guess the plugins and all those “options” fit into that group
Hi @pluh,
That’s great news! I think that group should cover all options stored in wp_options table in that case.
Thanks for letting us know, I’ll make a note of this in our KB.
