This issue began happening after latest WP update (4.3). Updating the plugin to 2.1.8 has not resolved issue for us.
With WP 4.3 and 2.1.7 it’s same problem. But with 2.1.5 it’s OK.

This widget is STILL very BROKEN for me.
I just use a basic sponsor slideshow in the sidebar from links (link categories – with the image url in the links settings). It worked fine for years until the recent updates.
PLEASE ADVISE?

Just wanted to update here that the slideshow is working great once again for me.
Kolja was very responsive and fast with solutions to improve the functionality. And went above and beyond to help resolve the issues we were having quickly.
