I am sorry, but there is only support for pro version users. If you are a pro version user, please reply to the pro version activation instructions to get support. There is an extensive FAQ, which might help you solve your problem or answer your question.
I am a new pro user and also have the same issue. My template supports featured images and I have manually selected a desired image…no matter what I try the wordpress logo appears. It never did before installing this plugin, so perhaps there is a configuration I am missing somewhere…
