• Hi all,

I’m just wondering how I can limit the amount of blog posts shown on the front page of my blog so it only shows the latest 3. I’ve gone into Settings > Reading and set “Blog Pages Show at most” to 3 and it’s done the job, however there is no “Previous” or “Next” button so the viewers cant go back and view the previous 3 posts etc..

  • I’m not positive… but I would guess this is a limitation of your theme. What theme are you using?

I imagine the pagination is built into the theme template file used to display the front page of the website.

Do you have any theme options you can check to see if you can control how the posts appear on the front page?

Thanks for the reply, I’m using the TwentyTen theme and I’ve been slowly turning it into my own designed theme.

I actually solved the problem, I didn’t realise but I had the classes for the pagination set to display none in the CSS.

    🙂
