Hi Anmari, this plugin is amazing. I have a rather weird question that would make someone say “Why would you want to do that?”. So here goes. I have 1 userlist that I’m using on two different pages in my theme. The shortcode is the same.

[userlist show_refresh=1 filter=show first_role=Author show_headings=1 csv=1 list=1]

I was wondering if there are any filters I could use to limit which fields are queried. For example, on one page I only want the display name queryable and on another page city, and state queryable. Thanks much for the help, and again great plugin.

Just checking I understand what you are asking.

If people type a search word say “Sydney” into the search field, you only want it to search for the display name fields and return people like “Sydney Poitier” and not people who live in “Sydney, Australia”?

Sorry – no way to influence that at the moment – search searches everything that is in the list. Only way would be to leave the fields you do not want searched off the display list.

For the City and State one, you probably best off using filters (since those are defined values) like the region field here:
