Limited functionality

In updating Sermon Manager to Mattytap and testing a new full site editing site, I was trying to replicate and even enhance the display of sermons. In looking through and testing the various blocks you have provided, the only one I could get to half-way work was the Display Sermons. It looks nice but I cannot get it to show the featured image which I assume is supposed to appear above the title of each sermon.

For all other blocks, I get a message that there are no sermons to display.

Can you help me resolve these two matters?
