    How to limit excerpt length of the posts? cant find the normal functions or the function that the theme uses.

    By default it set 150 but you can add custom function

    function custom_excerpt_length( $length ) {
        return 20;
    }
    add_filter( 'excerpt_length', 'custom_excerpt_length', 999 );

    Where is return 20 – it’s number of symbols
