limit content in excerpt

    I would like for each block in my grid to contain a featured image, the post title, and only the first four lines of content.

    For example, if the content in the post begins like the example below, I only want the Breed, Age, Gender, and Location lines displayed in the excerpt under the featured image and title for Max. I do not want any content after the Location line included.

    Can someone help me accomplish this? I am thanking you in advance.

    ——BEGIN EXAMPLE ——–

    Breed: GSD
    Age: 2 years
    Gender: Male
    Location: Washington, DC

    Hi! My name is Max. I’m a two-year old German Shepherd and so ready for my new home. I’m healthy, etc.

    Hi,
    Limit content in excerpt by line is not possible.

    But we have an alternative solution which might work for you. With Pro version, you can set manual excerpt for your posts, and the excerpt will be displayed as exact as what you want.
