Lightbox with different thumbnail and main image

Does anyone know how or a plugin that allows you to create thumbnails that open different images (than the thumbnail) in a lightbox effect such as on this page? http://hardcoreelegance.com/press/

I know that nextgen gallery was used in the website above however, I have all versions of it and cannot seem to find anything in there that allows this to happen.
