Lesson Plan Theme / template help

Hello all,
I am new here, but as always on any forum, I search and search prior to asking. I need to create an addition to my website which is a computer administered lesson plan. Essentially, will have the students read several pages in one section, and will be granted permission to move on to the next section after answering test questions correctly at the end of each section.

I am not all that savvy with wordpress, but am willing to learn. Want to know if wordpress will support my needs. There will be 120+ pages of content that I have created, and i know wordpress is pretty intuitive, but just want to know i wouldn’t be spinning my wheels when better set off a different platform.

I may end up hiring someone, but would prefer to do it myself as I wouldn’t need to rely on someone else, and have about 3 weeks vacation coming up. So, in short, what I’m asking is if wordpress can support a Lesson plan/test taking website, and if so, if there is a template or theme that I should use.
