Left sidebar problem

    Hi guys, I have been coding for days (not an expert tho) but I run into some annoying things. I could finally add left sidebar to my site but this is not showing up as I expected. I want to put my widgets to both side of my posts, but my left sidebar appears out of the sites border (picture below).

    I used this tutorial to get the sidebar working:

    And this is an actual screenshot of my site:
    As you can see the are sections like ‘Admin’, Date, Categories, Tags on the left side and I don’t want these.

    The left sidebar I created is barely visible on the lefthand side.

    Could you please tell me how to get rid of those annoying sections next to my posts and get my sidebar there instead?

    Edit: I think this problem is related to my Pages template, however I have no idea to fix it.
