Hi, Smush is a really good plugin for image optimization and I am using it on my site https://bestrobotvacuum2021.com/. I want to ask is there any other way than enabling the lazy load? what if the user just landed on my site and he just quickly jumped to the end of the page and the images will be load slowly due to lazy load. This may put a little negative impact on the user or its just normal?.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @dan012,

Lazy Load will load the image when it comes into focus on the page, so if scroll quickly at the it will load only the last image that will be in the screen, and as you scroll up the other images that come to view will load as well.

This is how the Lazy Loading works and while it might cause a slight delay it reduces the overall page speed loading time as it doesn’t need to load images right away.

    Cheers,
