• Hi, I have used LayerSlider for many years on a couple of my travelblog pages, but suddenly they have all stopped displaying the slider. There’s now just empty spaces where they shouold have been. I have tried disabling laxy load, make exeptions in processing JS and CSS, tried different browsers, purged cache etc, but with no success. Any suggestions?

CORRECTION: Some slides load byt terribly slow. Some display only one of the slides, with no arrows to proceed. Some never load.

Hi. If you’re referring to Slider Pro, not Layer Slider (which is a different plugin), please post a link to one of the pages where the problem occurs.

Sorry, a typo. I mean Slider Pro.

Please share a link to a page where the issue occurs.

Though I’ve had to remove the worst ones and replace them with Elementor sliders.

I don’t see any issue at that page. Do you see any issues with those slider? If so, please make some screenshots or a screencast.

As I wrote, I had to replace a couple of them yesterday because they were not functioning. Some of them started functioning after several minutes, some never did. What I did now was purge the cache for the page, and now You can experience the result. Two screen shots are attatched, though I’m not sure You can see them. Why is the only option to attatch images via URL?

Here’s the other one, where the images are stacked only showing the first in full (I’m having big problems attatching this one):

Please check those problematic sliders in the slider’s admin area. If they work there, it would mean that something else is causing the issue. Also, you could check the Console or Network tabs in the browser’s Developer Tools on the pages where the issues occur to see if there are any errors there. Unfortunately , I can’t replicate the issue myself to assist you better with this.

They look fine in preview, jumbled in element or edit mode (but they have always behaved like that) and I see nothing indicating problems in Google DevTools. Some have been lazy-loaded and some not, but there is no correlation between lazy-loaded sliders and the ones that load so terribly slow. And it’s really puzzling that a small number of them work without any problem whatsoever.

If the sliders look fine in the preview, it’s possible that something external is causing the issue. Could you maybe create a duplicate or test page where there are multiple sliders having visible issues? It’s hard to tell what it is if I can’t replicate it myself.

    Best,
    David
