I have the enhanced media library version 2.0.3. upon this upgrade, my media library stopped connecting with it. Meaning if I try and use the add media button, I see no images. If I try to set featured image, I have no options to choose from. If I click media library, all of my pictures are there but my categories are not. I disabled enhanced media library and then the add media button and set featured image work fine. So somehow the new version is no longer compatible.

I just activated all free Jetpack features and was perfectly able to add image to a post, and featured image as well. I use WordPress 4.1, Enhanced Media Library 2.0.3, and Jetpack 3.3
I think the problem is your particular website configuration (a combination of WP settings, active plugins, and theme). You can send an access to your website to me to wpuxsolutions [at] gmail [dot] com for further investigation.

I just received and installed an update to the WP Spam Shield plugin. I no longer have this problem. Go figure.
