Latest Post widget – Author link code displaying

    The author metadata link on the latest posts widget has an error that is forcing the back-end link to show, without turning it into a link. See here:

    I have had to hide this element via CSS as it was revealing author usernames – VERY bad idea. So if you want to see it live, you’ll have to use the developer view, find it in the code below the date, and turn off the “display: none;” css. I took a quick look in the back-end code to see if I could figure out what the problem was, but I didn’t have any luck.
