    Hi there,
I’m unable to get the Last Modified date to either replace the Published Date like this plugin says it can (“Allows you to replace post published date with post modified info”) or at the very least, have the modified date be in the same line, right under the header, by the published date. Right now the modified date just appears right at the beginning of my post content, looking like it was just manually added as part of the post. (I linked one of my blog posts that show this)

Ideally, I’d like to replace the published date with modified date, but if that’s not possible, my next option would to put the modified date in the same line and display as published date. How can I get either of these to work??

Hope that makes sense and that you can help 🙂 Thank you!

    Hi,

Go to Template Tags tab and add this line <span class="date">%published_date%</span> to the “Enter text or HTML to Replace:” field and save changes.

Thanks Sayan, that worked to change the published date to the modified date! Is there a way to make it say “modified on” before it though? Also, the date is now a very different font from the rest of the text in that line under the header. Would you know how to fix this so it matches the rest? Thanks again for everything 🙂

    Hi,

Pleae go to Templates Tags Tab and write “Modified on” on the ‘Text before Last Modified Info’ field and write “date” in ‘Custom CSS Class’ field in Templates Tags Tab and save changes.

    Hope, it will work.

    Thanks!
