• There used to be a simple way to lengthen the text box into which posts are written; I thought it was under the Settings | Writing area, but now I cannot find it. Since this last update that text box for entering or editing posts is barely 20 lines or so, and I cannot find how to restore my text box so it fills most of the window — I use pictures and need to see the text above and below the pictures as I edit the post or page.

  • There is a button in the post editor above the text editing box which makes the editor full screen.
Also many browsers allow you to just drag the bottom corner of a text editing box and make it as big as you like.

I tried the editor full screen mode, but then couldn’t find the formatting buttons that I require.

I did try dragging the corner of the box to lengthen and that did, in fact, work. It used to be a hard setting in Word Press, so this was a new option for me. It serves my purpose while keeping the formatting options visible. So, thank you.
