Large cookies causing site error

We have repeat visitors to our WordPress sites (and sub-sites), who accumulate very large ct_pointer_data cookies. Eventually, they become large that they receive a 400 response, preventing access to the sites.

We have expanded the allowable cookie header on our servers as a temporary fix, but this is not a sustainable solution.

Is there a way we can limit the size of CleanTalk cookies and/or reduce their lifetime?
