  • I don’t know if I should open a new thread or not, but I have the exact same issue.

After upgrading, my site looked exactly the same at first glance. All posts are still separated according to their assigned language. It was only when I wanted to include new content that I noticed I no longer had the option to include a translation or to assign a certain language to the content written.
I have now downgraded back to version 1.7.6, but here are the two main changes I’ve noticed before the downgrade:

    • In the list of posts/pages, the columns with the language flags have disappeared ,[screenshot]
    • When writing a new post, the screen option “languaged” is no longer available [screenshot]

    Hi!

Just in case it is another symptom of a solved issue with old PHP versions, could you try with the development version 1.7.7.1?

I just installed this latest version, and now it does seem to all be in order At least the two issues I mentioned are no longer there.

Is there something else you need me to check?

    Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback. Another user reported that the settings tab disappeared in Settings->languages. Could you check if it’s there for you?

I now have 4 tabs under settings (compared to 3 in previous versions), including settings [screenshot]
