[Resolved] Language proficiencies

  • Hi,

    I am trying to add language proficiencies from my profile but it seems harder than I thought. I added languages:(language,proficiency:(name)) in the profile field list in the setting screen but nothing is displayed. Am I doing something wrong? Should I edit some php codes to get it working?

    Thanks for this plugin anyway, it’s great!

    yes, you must also customize the templates, see here for an example: http://vdvn.me/more-wp-linkedin

    Thanks. For those interested, here is my code.

    Added in the settings:

    languages:(language,proficiency)

    Added to a copy of profile.php in a new linkedin folder inside my theme folder:

    <?php if (isset($profile->languages->values) && is_array($profile->languages->values)): ?>
    <div id="languages" class="section">
    <div class="heading"><?php _e('Languages', 'wp-linkedin'); ?></div>
    <ul>
    <?php foreach ($profile->languages->values as $v): ?>
    <li class="language"><?php echo $v->language->name; ?>: <?php echo $v->proficiency->name; ?></li>
    <?php endforeach; ?>
    </ul>
    </div>
    <?php endif;?>
