• This might be a dumb question, but I have at least tried searching the forum archives for the answer :-)…

I have been working on a custom theme, using Kubrick as my starting point. I have a static page as my home page, and I have a link to my blog page in the sidebar. When on that blog page, however, I don’t have a sidebar. I’ve tried using get_sidebar() to put it there, but that didn’t work.

I thought I might be able to figure it out by looking at how the Kubrick style instantiates the sidebar. My problem is that I cannot find any code in that style that does it.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction towards understanding how the sidebar is generated?
