just updated plugin, horizontal scroll option not working?

    Hi,
    I just updated the TablePress plugin and when I tick/untick the horizonal scroll option it does not seem to affect my table. (Example)

    Before I had horizontal scroll checked so that the table would stay in the confines of my layout, now the table just expands horizontally to the right no matter if I check it or uncheck it.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This was most likely not caused by the update. Instead, there seems to be another plugin on your site that is loading an old and outdated version of the jQuery JavaScript library from the Google CDN service, instead of simply using the up-to-date version of jQuery that is shipped with WordPress (and which TablePress uses).

    From what I could find out, it seems that the “Social Sharing Toolkit” is causing this. Could you temporarily deactivate that?

    Hi, Thank you for the quick response!

    You were indeed correct, it works not that I inactivate it.

    Would you be able to point me to any links or resources for fixing that sort of thing with another plugin? I even updated it but with it activated it was still interfering with the scroll.

    Hi,

    sorry, I don’t really see a way to fix this issue in the Social Sharing Toolkit plugin. It’s just not coded in a good way in this regard 🙁

    In general, I use the debug and developer tools in the browser (I recommend Chrome for that).
