Sorry that you ran into issues here!
That can happen if your site isn’t running WP-cron regularly to activate the code to remove expired listings from the front end. It can happen for two reasons:
– You don’t get any traffic (but since you visited, that code should have run by now)
– OR, your cron isn’t working on your web hosting platform, which WP requires to do this (a timer, basically)
Can you check with your web host and see if they support cron jobs? And if they are, are they enabled for your account/site?

I’m pretty sure the host supports cron jobs…
