Hi there!
Thank you for sharing the details and example. I’ve tried to replicate this issue in a sandbox test order, and here’s what I’m seeing: Braintree (Credit Card) Test Charge Approved: American Express ending in 0005 (expires 12/34) (Transaction ID xxxxxx)
The total amount does not appear in the order notes. Could you please confirm if you are using any custom code to display the total amount in the order notes? Also, could you confirm whether this was working correctly before? If yes, please provide more information about any changes made to your site after which this issue started appearing.
For testing purposes, could you please enable sandbox mode and place a test order to see if the total amount appears in the test order as well, or if this only happens with live transactions?
To switch to sandbox mode:
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments
- Click Manage next to Braintree (Credit Card)
- Scroll down to the Environment section and change it to Sandbox Click here to sign up for a Braintree sandbox account.
This will help us determine whether the issue is specific to live transactions or related to something else on your site.
Hi there,
It’s been a little while since we last heard from you, so I’ll mark this as resolved. Reach out anytime if you’d like to revisit this!
