JSON parse error

whenever the banner loads in rotation, the plugin will generally cause an error in the console.

Very strange.
It seems the issue you have has nothing to do with the plugin.
1. The same ad code with the same settings runs fine on test servers.
2. The same error is reported also for gdpr cookie compliance plugin for this script:
/wp-content/plugins/gdpr-cookie-compliance/dist/scripts/main.js
I can’t imagine the same error in two different plugins.
Therefore it must be something with your website.I would need to look deeper.
