Hi, is it possible to get MailPoet to NOT depend on jQuery? Is it a particular option or subscription form variant that causes jQuery to be loaded?

We’d like to keep our front-end as light as possible and avoid the use of script libraries…

So I have checked this with the developers and the short answer is that it is not possible. Our forms use jQuery and this is not a popular request so it is something that is not in our roadmap.

You could add it as a suggestion here https://feedback.mailpoet.com so that other users can upvote and comment on it, to see if it gets any traction.

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin 🙂
