jQuery conflict with Elementor popup?
-
Hi,
Thanks for this awesome plugin. Really appreciate your work on it.
Just discovered a problem I haven’t encountered before. When I have Elementor pop-up code on a page, the PS2ID doesn’t work when I link to a target ID from a *DIFFERENT* page. For example:
- On the linked page below, I have a “Press Releases” section.
- When a user clicks to view a press release, they are take to that individual post.
- At the top of the individual post is a link to “Return to all press releases”
- The full URL with target ID shows briefly in the address bar, then the target text disappears, leaving an empty hash and not scrolling at all.
This happens with a couple other links on the site where I take the user from one page to a target on another.
After some troubleshooting, I learned that if I didn’t have any Elementor pop-up code on the page, it worked fine. The only problem is I have since added a pop-up that is triggered by a button in the footer…which is on every page. I don’t want to give up either functionality because both are important!
Is this a jQuery loading conflict or something else? I’m not a developer, so a lot of code tinkering is beyond me. But if there’s a relatively simple fix, I would appreciate knowing it! Thank you!
