Joomla converting

hello , i have a joomla site running , ive been trying to convert it to wordpress the couple last days, but none of the converter are working ,when those with utf8 support are not able to import the arabic posts. As for normal english posts, it doesn’t even import the post meta table , which creates a hole in the database.
am thinking is there a way to export the articles from joomla as rss and import them to wordpress or have anyone found the solution to convert it the right way.
ps i tried the converter with all wp versions
