• With the new version of Jigoshop a new plugin seems to be installed without my knowledge or consent: Jigoshop Shop Cache. If I try to access the link to see what is all about, it just point to the main Jigoshop repository.

The problem is that the new plugin is at version 1.0 and continuously ask to be updated to version 1.16… If I update it, seems that the whole Jigoshop is updated again… but Jigoshop Shop Cache still stay at the same version 1.0… asking again to be updated….

“Jigoshop Shop Cache still stay at the same version 1.0… asking again to be updated….”

I’m having the same exact issue. And to make matters worse, I tried to update and then uninstall – and it uninstalled my ENTIRE shop.

I have reinstalled the plugin, and the products are there, however all of the settings are gone. Now the product pages point to the homepage instead of the checkout / cart page when they are added to the cart, even though I have changed the settings.

Is there a way to fix this?????

Quick update: We expect to resolve this issue in a matter of few hours.

We will provide you with an instruction of how to solve it soon.

I also uninstalled the Jigoshop Shop Cache and uninstalled the entire shop.

Good thing I paid for my server’s backup option, easily restored everything.
Backup is certainly the 1st priority, it has saved me countless times.

    Hello everyone,

We are sorry that you had to deal with “Jigoshop Shop Cache”. It was my mistake it was included into Jigoshop release.

It’s just experimental feature to cache whole shop page to use with conjunction with Category Pages, you can easily remove jigoshop-shop-cache.php from Jigoshop folder. In 1.16.1 this file will be removed.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Ok, thanks, fixed already 🙂

Fixed release will be uploaded in a few minutes, database update will automatically remove offending file from Jigoshop directory.

Thank you all for understanding and again – I’m sorry for inconvenience.
