I’ve been installing your plugin on all my sites and enables auto updates of everything (which is how I think WordPress should have always been right out of the box).
I came across some dialog box showing up at the top of the WP admin area after installing your plugin on one of my sites that said something about “would I like to enable automatic updates on plugins to enhance site security?”
I thought this was a strange dialog box from you considering that I had just installed your plugin and set it to auto update everything.
But I clicked to do it and discovered that it took me to the WordPress Jetpack options page that apparently now does plugin updates AND has all my plugins set to NOT automatically update. (I don’t get the point of that as the default setting.)
I can’t find a way to disable this jetpack thing now that it is on.

Will your plugin auto update setting override this jetpack stupidity?

It would be easy over time to accidentally do this on all my sites and I don’t want to have to go to the Jetpack settings each time and individually select auto update on every plugin installed on every site I have.

You should be able to display the Jetpack site manager. If Jetpack site manager is disabled then our plugin will work fine. I have not tested to see if Easy Updates Manager overrides it, although either way if you are not using the Jetpack site manager you should just disable it.

You should just be able to disable the module. If that doesn’t work, I’d post in the Jetpack forum for assistance.
