Hi, I have a website that’s hosted by Godaddy.com, and recently they sent me out an email informing me I will have to migrate my website and hosted files from their 4gh system to their new setup, which they called “managed wordpress.” I paid to be migrated, but fatal errors prevented my new website from working after they copied over my files. I was told by my customer service rep that he has never ever seen the error messages we dealt with, and he went to speak with his senior managers more than 5 times trying to resolve what they believed to be a problem with plugins.

Most of my website worked in the duplicate copy they created and were showing me on the new link, but none of my character’s avatars worked, in addition to other issues with the comment fields not working. Above everything else, two error messages stood out:

Fatal error: Class ‘Jetpack_Options’ not found in /home/content/p3nexnas05_data01/58/2087358/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/stats.php on line 214

    ( And )

Warning: Missing argument 5 for Add_New_Default_avatar::get_avatar() in /home/content/p3nexnas05_data01/58/2087358/html/wp-content/plugins/add-new-default-avatar/kl_addnewdefaultavatar.php on line 132

With customer support on the line for 3 hours, we tried updating the jetpack plugin to the most current version, 2.9.3, in addition to the “Custom Field Template” plugin to 2.2.1, and the “Add New Default Avatar” to 1.3.1

As it stands, the only thing that is preventing my new website with godaddy from working is the missing argument message:

Warning: Missing argument 5 for Add_New_Default_Avatar::get_avatar() in /home/content/p3nexnas05_data01/58/2087358/html/wp-content/plugins/add-new-default-avatar/kl_addnewdefaultavatar.php on line 132

It pops up everywhere, especially when it comes to avatars on my website.

Godaddy suggests I come here to ask for help because this is a very strong wordpress community, so if someone can help me, please do! I don’t know the first thing about programming for websites, and that’s why I paid godaddy to handle it for me. If we can resolve this one issue, everything should be ok. But as it stands right now, I only have about 1 year before godaddy stops supporting their 4gh system, and my website will be no more! I have to transfer it eventually.
