I recently got hosting and a domain name, and installed WordPress this past week. I just tried installing Jetpack which installed, but once I started to edit settings, I was taken to a blank, white page.
I could not get back into my admin dashboard at all, and Google even said my “/wp-admin/” URL couldn’t be found. I had to login to my hosting’s file manager and delete the entire Jetpack plugin folder. After about 15 minutes, I was able to log in to my admin dashboard again.
I re-installed Jetpack, decided to wait, and my site loaded again after about 15 min. But now when I’m trying to edit Jetpack settings, sometimes the site takes me to a white, blank page again. It even happened when I was trying to edit settings in another plugin.
Additionally, Jetpack said my comments installed but there are no comment settings to edit under “Discussion.”
Is the latest version of Jetpack just seriously bugged and causing WordPress to freeze up or what?
My site’s http://www.livegeekandprosper.com, if anyone wants to check it out and help me. Thanks in advance!
