I noticed that JetPack comments doesn’t minify it’s resources. This leads to a worse user experience (longer load times) and worse SEO. Google Page Speed complains about the JetPack comments resources.
Why aren’t these resources minified? I read in an older support ticket that it ‘impacts the readability of the code’. Can you please explain why that is important? I can understand it’s important for development but not why it’s important in distribution…

In the meantime, you can rest assured: although the files aren’t minified, they are served from WordPress.com’s CDN, so they should be served quite quickly on your site.
