Jetpack and comments issue

So I found out that myself and others couldn’t comment on my website. The error that I got and other users was that when submitting the comment it would just disappear and wouldn’t show up on my admin dashboard for approval. What’s even more weird about it is that after clicking post, the text box where you’d type your comment turned into a clipped image of the front page of the website.

I went crazy looking for solutions and when I deactivated the Jetpack plug-in (the only plug-in I had activated) suddenly the comments worked! So for now I have Jetpack disabled but if anyone knows if there’s a solution for this I would like to know please!
