Hello, With the Jeg Elementor Kit extension active, when I go to appearance to customize my theme, there are malfunctions. The shortcuts with the pencil icon to modify by clicking directly on an element of the site no longer appear. Similarly, when I try to modify the page fold or the header, the builder covers the entire preview of the site on the right side. These malfunctions disappear when I deactivate Jeg Elementor Kit. I love your extension, and I would like to continue using it. If you can find a solution that would be great! Thank you !
We sincerely apologize for the delayed response and the inconvenience you’ve experienced. We have reviewed the issue and confirmed that such an issue does exist.
To resolve it, you can try replacing the ../wp-content/plugins/jeg-elementor-kit/lib/jeg-framework/assets/css/theme-customizer.css file with the updated one from the link below:
Hello @fauzanjegstudio, thank you very much for your quick response. I have updated the theme-customizer.css file with the content you sent me, unfortunately the problem remains.
The issue with the Pencil Icon not being visible has been resolved on our end by updating the file. Do you have caching enabled on your site? If you do, we kindly ask that you clear all cache from both your site and your browser. Sometimes, cache can store old data, preventing changes from being visible.
If clearing the cache does not resolve the issue, could you please provide us with the URL of your site? We would also greatly appreciate it if you could send us a screenshot or video of how it appears, as this may help us better understand the problem.
Thanks, I cleared the browser cache, and the pencils appeared! However, I still have the problem of the header and footer modification tool which completely covers the site preview.
When I click to edit the footer with the Jeg Elementor Kit plugin disabled (normal behavior):
When I click to edit the footer with the Jeg Elementor Kit plugin enabled, the footer edit tool sticks to the top and the bottom fills with a black background:
I observe the same behavior when I click to edit the header.
We sincerely apologize for our delay in responding and thank you for the image you provided; it has helped us better understand the issue.
To resolve the remaining problem, you can try replacing the file ../wp-content/plugins/jeg-elementor-kit/lib/jeg-framework/assets/css/customizer.css with the file in the link below.
It works! Thank you very much for your help. I use your plugin on several sites, will this be part of an update or do I do the same thing on all my sites?
We will include this fix in the next update, but currently, we do not have plans to update the plugin soon. Do you have many sites? If possible, you can manually add this file to fix it on the other sites.
