With JavaScript minification ON, player window in Video Playlist uses only part of the max width available on larger screens, not optimal use of the space (there is no problem in preview mode). With minification JavaScript OFF, it uses full width of post/page. What files should be excluded from processing? Any other remedy? Thanks.

  • @piotgorn You’ll have to check for the JS files used by the Video player and add the path to the excludes box from WP-Optimize > Minify > Javascript and check if it helps to fix the issue.

    OK thanks, found it:

    /wp-includes/js/mediaelement/wp-playlist.min.js

@piotgorn Does adding the file to exclude, helps to fix the issue?

Yes it does, sorry for not being clear. It is not a critical issue perhaps, as the Video Playlist appeared functional, but excluding the path effectively doubles the viewing area (and eliminates blank space). Reverting to the original design which works better for me.
