Javascript error affects behavior of meta box fields

    Hello. We noticed that certain features of the Yoast SEO meta box don’t work anymore.

    At the end of each article in WordPress, we used to be able to see a summary that would tell us if the keywords were used in the title, URL, meta, and how many times in the text. It’s not there now. Also, we don’t get a character count for the meta description, although we can see the meta description.

    I happened to notice a javascript error in the console which says this:
    uncaught error: no such method ‘instance’ for menu widget instance

    Some searching for this yielded some other people with the same problem and linked it back to the Yoast SEO plugin. Here’s an example:
