    Currently:-
Apache Server / WordPress with Divi and started to optimise using Hummingbird.

Currently trying to cache the JavaScript, CSS, Media and Images (1 year), but following the instructions its saying within the Hummingbird admin panel false or more often disabled. I change the timeout and get “Code snippet updated”.
When I recheck I still have it as “disabled”

I have copied the code to .htaccess and the domain configuration file (before the directory), but alas nothing seems to work.

I’ve also disabled the Divi caching to stop any conflicts:-

Divi >> Theme Options >> General >> Minify And Combine Javascript Files
Divi >> Theme Options >> General >> Minify And Combine CSS Files
Divi >> Theme Options >> Builder >> Advanced >> Static CSS File Generation

    Any Ideas??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @stuartpw ,

    I’m sorry about this issue.

I’ve tested on my site if Hummingbird can add caching rules to htaccess file and it worked fine.

Can you contact your hosting provider and ask if they are allowing browser cache to be configured from the htaccess file level? In very rare cases there are restrictions in the server configuration and rules in htaccess can’t override it.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hi Kasia,

I’ve checked what modules Apache is runniung this morning and I can see the ones required for caching are active:-

    cache_module (shared)
    cache_disk_module (shared)
    expires_module (shared)
    headers_module (shared)

Is there any other modules that are required?

    Regards
    Stuart

Strange thing I just ran through the setup again… it did give me one error aout the module being used by another plugin, but then after a refresh all seem ok?

    Hello @stuartpw ,

Does it mean that Hummingbird shows now that caching is enabled?

    kind regards,
    Kasia
