Java or Jquery headache

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the possible help. I have been working with WordPress for some time now, and haven’t experienced this until the last 2 sites I’ve tried to WordPress. Both use html templates, which I’ve “ported” into WordPress using the Starkers naked theme. Now typically, I can still use plugins like Easing Slider, even though it’s not a WordPress template I’m using. Recently however, I cannot get any jquery to work at all. Even if I install a manual version of Nivo Slider (link all the .js files myself, etc), it will not work. In all cases, it just displays the images straight down the page. Any ideas? Any help would be great!
