All of our PayPal transactions list “Shopping Cart” as the item Title. Is there a way to make Event Manager push the event name (or better yet, category) to PayPal? It would help with bookkeeping reconciling.

are you using EMPro? maybe you can try to re-post this on the pro forums so we can provide you with sample links with similar issue which can help you out.
