Reliable, clean and simple
It is a very fast translation system, it is unprecedented for WP translations system, it is clean, easy and straight forward, it eliminates all the hassle with other plugins that just complicate more the WP platform.
It is an independent browser based platform that can be accessed and customised.
It is a bit pricey if you have a large content site or a news feed incorporated that needs lots of translations, however the translations work very well, not sure if works well with all languages, we are translating English to a Latin European language and so far it all works fine.
We will update this review later on as we move forward.
As said, we are updating (today 06/06/18) now after using it for 1-2 months.
The application plugin is the best translation solution for wordpress that I know of, it does it instantly, and without complicating wordpress, like our website has dozens of plugins and trying to translate content utilizing an inbound translation plugin would be impossibly difficult and disruptive.
Weglot interface is somehow easy to use, it needs more functions to deal with translation material so you can service, but overall it is well designed. We hope new functions to manage translated content gets added.
The cost depending of the type of website can become an issue, we still assessing this aspect, for example our site has a newsfeed with a constant influx on content posts that is being translated when accessed, at this moment is all working nicely, however we don’t know it will all work out when we have massive amounts of content and traffic, we suggest weglot to introduce a package for ‘high volume content websites’, like some infinity translation package with automated deletion of old translations for example, it has to be a balance of course.
I will still rate this plugin 5 stars for its functionality and efficiency, it does what it says. I would not pick another translation solution.
