It isn’t working with Custom Post Types

Hi Michael,

Thanks again for this great plugin. After doing some research, I realized it doesn’t work for custom post types; it works fine with standard formats, but .md pages created with non-standard page types get a 404 error.

I’ve tried a few plugins, but this one is the best. It would be great if it added custom post type support and “Accept: text/markdown” header support. You mentioned concerns about the caching mechanism in another topic, but all the other plugins provide header support. This project https://github.com/progressplanner/markdown-alternate caught my attention, but Michael, your plugin is the most practical and best performing.

If solutions can be found for these two issues I mentioned above, it would be fantastic.
