  • I just updated the plug in this morning and I am also using a Genesis theme framework how long does it take for the article to index in search?

Hi @tinaponting your site returns the error ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH (Chrome) and SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP (Firefox) … something wrong with the SSL license? It might explain why Google is not indexing new posts on your site.

I notify the hotell and hope they work it out:)

@borange the genesis framework should not be a problem. It depends on the search engines how long they will take to come and index your site. There is no way to force them but it generally does not take more than a few days. I advise to open both a Bing and a Google Search Console account so you can submit your sitemap, monitor index status and be warned of errors. For the rest you can only wait.

TIP: Publishing new content regularly will attract the search engines to come and visit more often.

The webhotell answeared; That it is right and they corected it and it should be fine in a couble hours:)

Looks OK now except that the XML stylesheet is blocked… this is not a problem for Google but it does prevent us humans from viewing the sitemap properly.

Could you ask webhotel to allow .xsl file types? It should not be blocking https://eatinglinks.tk/wp-content/plugins/xml-sitemap-feed/views/styles/sitemap-index.xsl
