Issues with posts and pictures

    just getting started with wordpress. installed and started writing some sample posts. Used Site origin PageBuilder and created a few simple posts with a single image inside.

    All looked ok then I noticed that some posts show the picture in the post loop and some do not. But then it got worse. One post showed the picture of another in the post loop event though they both showed the correct picture in the post itself

    then I decided to remove the pictures from both posts and even though there are no more pictures in either post the post loop preview still shows the picture from post 1 in post 2

    any ideas ?

    I don’t think the plugin has anything to do with it as I have the same issue without it. just wanted to mention it that I use it also

    I think I figured it out. If I do not set a featured image on the post normally WP uses an image from the post. But sometimes it seems to get confused either not showing an image or in the case of the last one actually using an image from a different post.

    As soon as a set a dedicated features image it was fine. Problem would be of course if you do not want a featured image.

    Yes, confirmed. I went back to the post (not using PageBuilder) and removed the featured image and it immediately pulled the image from the other post
